RENTAL INFORMATION

Garry Marshall Theatre is available for film screenings, readings, lectures, concerts, showcases, productions, and industry event rentals.


THEATRE SPECS & GENERAL INFO:

The Garry Marshall Theatre is an ADA-compliant facility, seating up to 110 people, with a lobby and two restrooms.

All GMT spaces are rented in “as is” condition. Rentee will be be advised of the “as is” condition including floor treatments and/or scenic installations. GMT does not provide in-house sound, but works with an outside company to build a sound package tailored to each rental. GMT does provide a speaker system and PA playback. GMT is also happy to refer an outside company for any curtain or drape needs, as the stage is not outfitted with drape.

Rentals do include the house lighting plot with the option of front-light intensity adjustment and black outs. Any technical design work provided by GMT will incur additional fees.

Required staff varied on the nature of the event. A GMT rental manager is required to be onsite for duration of the event rental. Based on the renters needs, staffing for each rental will be determined at the sole discretion of Garry Marshall Theatre and will be outlined in the rental agreement. Event Staff is hired at a minimum of 4 hours.

A full day rental is considered to be eight consecutive hours within a 24 hour period inside of a single calendar day. Bookings that exceed eight consecutive hours are subject to addition costs: staff/crew rates will be paid time and a half per hour (for ninth-twelfth hour); over 12 hours, staff/crew will be paid double time.

A supply fee and cleaning/sanitation fee are required for each rental.

DEPOSIT

All rentals are subject to a 25% deposit of the total rental fee upon agreement execution.

STAGE RENTAL RATES*

Full Day (8 Hours): $3,200 per day + custodial and supply fees, and all required staffing.

Additional time over 8 hours incurs a $350 per hour fee. Additional time over 12 hours incurs a $550 per hour fee.

Partial Day (Up to 5 Hours): $2,100 + custodial and supply fees, and all required staffing.

STAGE RENTAL NONPROFIT RATES*

Full Day (8 Hours): $2,400 per day + custodial and supply fees, and all required staffing.

Additional time over 8 hours incurs a $350 per hour fee. Additional time over 12 hours incurs a $550 per hour fee.

Partial Day (5 Hours): $1,600 partial day + custodial and supply fees, and all required staffing.

Nonprofit rentals must show proof of 501(c)(3) status. Rentals are subject to availability and all fees are subject to change until a rental agreement is signed.

REHEARSAL STUDIO RATES

Located on the second floor of the Garry Marshall Theatre building. The Rehearsal Studio is 866-sqft, complete with a 24-foot mirror wall concealed with drape.

Rehearsal Studio Capacity: 49

Full Day (8 Hours): $1600 + $150 custodial and supply fee, and all required staffing.

Note: Includes single second floor restroom and lobby restrooms.

$250 per hour (4 hour minimum) + $150 custodial and supply fee, and all required staffing.

TV/VIDEO/FILM PRODUCTION RATES

SCREENING RATES

Screening Package Rate  is a 4-hour window (including load-in and strike): $2,350 

Includes use of Epson EB-PU2113W Projector & 8’x14’ Screen, video operator, custodial and supply fees, and all required staffing, with access to lobby, small courtyard, theatre and side lot & alley lot parking. Seating for Screen Package Rate is general and does not engage with the GMT box office. Guest check-in for screening rentals is not handled by GMT staff.

Please note: GMT parking is $5 cash only.

Additional technical or audio equipment will incur additional fees.

FOOD & ALCOHOL

Alcohol may be served on the premises, however it may not be sold. Staff has the right to request ID. For all rental events that require catering, Garry Marshall Theatre must be provided with the caterer’s information.

BOX OFFICE ENGAGEMENT INFO

Box Office Fee ranges from $750-$1,500

May include creation of show/events on our ticketing platform, GMT website presence, box office staffing, supplies, ticket stock. 

Box Office Reconciliation: GMT provides a box office report and payout after a box office reconciliation based on agreement, minus all ticketing and credit card fees.
